The GDP data shows that for the three months since June the pace of recovery has been low. As a result of this the investors prefer to shun the dollar for some other profitable currencies. These preferred currencies are high yielding ones; hence, are most advantageous in nature. The GDP data show that UK currency has reached a much higher position than the US currency in the past 6 months. Thus the pound is in a much happier position than that of the USD.
